Preston Ghost Town and Gold Mine Hike

Over 130 years ago Preston was a bustling town of approximately 150 citizens but now only the ghostly remains of buildings reside here. Join a local expert on this guided hike to learn about the history of the town and many of the rich mines that operated in the area.

This hike is approximately 3 miles round-trip and lasts for approximately 3 hours. For our guests visiting from lower elevations, this is a manageable hike if you have acclimated to 10,000 feet. We do not suggest you hike with us if you are feeling symptoms of altitude sickness.

This hike includes a bag lunch (Preston Hike - Menu).
