Victorian Tour & Tea

Take a tour through Breckenridge's nationally recognized Historic District with a local expert! Learn about the life of Katie Briggle, Breckenridge's leading lady at the turn of the century and hear stories about life in a prosperous mining town. At the end of the tour, explore the restored Briggle home and enjoy a Victorian tea service and treats in the house.

Mr. and Mrs. Briggle were a wealthy couple who bought a home in Breckenridge in 1896. Katie often entertained fellow socialites with teas and music concerts in her parlor. This exclusive tour will provide access to the beautifully restored Victorian Briggle house and is sure to be a memorable experience!

$20/Adult (13+), $10/Child (4-12)

Tickets can be purchased online, at the Welcome Center or by calling 970-453-9767 x2. Online tickets purchased after 11am on the day of the tour cannot be verified; please call 970-453-9767 x2 for more information.

For online purchases, we will enter your information in our reservation system when your order is received. We do not issue paper tickets.

Location

Tour begins at the Breckenridge Welcome Center at 203 South Main Street and ends at the William Briggle House at 104 North Harris Street.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are required 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the tour to receive a refund.

FAQ's

Minimum Guest Requirement: We do not have a minimum guest requirement; however, we do have a maximum guest limit to ensure the enjoyment of the tour.

Weather Policy: We will cancel a guided tour or hike for the following reasons: 1) if there is thunder and lightning in the area 10 minutes before a tour is scheduled to start, and 2) if the weather forecast predicts the temperature will be below zero degrees at the start of the tour. In each of these cases, a full refund will be given to guests.

Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed on the tour, with the exception of service animals.

Please note that smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted on any site or tour and we reserve the right to request you leave a site or tour if you are smoking.

Please allow 2 hours to complete the tour and enjoy tea and treats! The walking portion of this tour is outdoors, so please dress for the weather.
