Established in 1980, Breckenridge’s Nationally Recognized Historic District is one of the largest in the state. The Breckenridge Heritage Alliance installed new “bookend” historic district signs in 2011 and street sign “toppers” in 2013. Contributing structures in the district may receive a free historic district plaque from the BHA to be placed on or near the structure.
