Barney Ford Victorian House and Lawn

Address: 111 East Washington Avenue, Breckenridge

The Barney Ford House was built in 1882 by prominent craftsman, Elias Nashold, for Ford and his family. Today, the Barney Ford House has been restored to its original Victorian style and each room in the home is dedicated to a different part of Barney’s life.  Adjacent to the House, mature evergreens and cottonwoods on the lawn provide a lovely and inviting setting in downtown Breckenridge.

The Breckenridge Heritage Alliance holds our annual 4th of July Garden Party fundraiser on the Barney Ford Lawn. We permit site rentals after 1pm on July 4th. Any lawn rentals for the weekend of July 4th are required to include the tent rental if booked 6 months in advance. If you are interested in renting the Lawn before 1pm on July 4th, please contact Michele at michelec@breckheritage.com or 970-453-9767 x103.

The museum is not available to rent during operating hours.
